Privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for and what rights you have. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process and why

  • Proposal requests and contact forms. Name, email, phone number, profile (council, association, vet, carer…), town or organisation, message and, in the proposal form, your answers to the six steps (council details, sizing, needs, storage and services). Purpose: to reply to your request, prepare and send you the proposal and contact you about it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given by ticking the box, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b).
  • Email and phone. If you write or call us, we use your details only to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: consent or pre-contractual steps.
  • Browsing and cookies. This site does not use measurement or advertising cookies. More details in the cookie policy. Legal basis: your consent.

Fields marked as required are needed to handle your request. If you leave them empty, we cannot do so.

3. How long we keep your data

For as long as needed to handle your request and, afterwards, for the legal limitation periods for possible liabilities. If we enter into a contract, data is kept for its duration and the applicable legal periods. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. To provide the service we use providers acting as data processors under an Art. 28 GDPR agreement: web hosting and email.

5. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting what was done before), by writing to info@icarom.es and saying which right you are exercising. We may ask for proof of identity. If you think we have not handled your rights properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

6. Minors

This site is aimed at public bodies, organisations and professionals. It is not intended for children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

8. The FaunaNet app

This policy covers this website only. When a council, association or other organisation uses the FaunaNet app, that organisation is the controller of the data it enters (colony census, carers, alerts…) and ICAROM 3D, S.L. acts as data processor under the contract signed with it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The date of the last review is shown at the end of the page.
